With an efficient wood burning stove fitted with a back boiler, it is possible to heat the water and radiators/underfloor heating, linked to a heat pump (300-400% efficient) via a thermal store, making is feasible to do away with oil for heating and hot water altogether.

Flues

Correct flueing is the most important factor with any woodburning or multifuel appliance.

Safety must always come first and it's imperative that whoever installs a flue or connects to a chimney knows the regulations and is qualified to do so.
