Commissioning

The commissioning service is an optional extra, which we strongly recommend. This will ensure that the system is running at its optimum efficiency.

These are some of the key aspects of the commissioning service:

1. Balance the manifold(s) to ensure that the appropriate flow rate is achieved for the various circuits/zones.
2. Calibration of room stats, to ensure the temperature demand is accurate.
3. Control orientation, which ensures that the correct room stat and actuator head(s) are connected to the appropriate circuits on the manifold(s).
4. Setting the mixer valve to the required temperature.
5. Heat checks of the various rooms/zones, to ensure that the floors are reaching the required temperature.

Note

An underfloor heating system that has not been commissioned in the appropriate manner, may well result in poor or greatly reduced performance.
