Bore Holes

In some instances, a bore hole offers a solution when the ground area is not available for horizontal collectors.

Heat pumps can be designed to operate on both open and closed loop systems.

Open loops utilise ground water - drawing it up, extracting the energy from it and then returning what is not used.

Closed loops are sealed systems circulating a brine mix solution constantly around the pipework.

A vertical bore hole can be drilled to depths of 100m or more.
